Rules for Youth RR - Children - 2026 Youth RR - Childern

The minimum age for participation in childrens archery is 5 years old on the day of the shoot.
1. Age
   1. Children are ages 5 - 9
   2. Children age 5-7 must have permission from the Target MIC and must show archery competence to the MICs satisfaction.
2. Scoring
   1. Children Royal Round consists of the following:
      1. 20 Yards
      2. 15 Yards
      3. 10 Yards
      4. Timed end of 30 Seconds at 10 Yards
   2. Individual average is determined by the 2 highest scores
3. Equipment
   1. There are no bow class divisions in children`s archery
   2. Marked bow limbs are allowed
4. All Children must have a parent or court-appointed, legal guardian present at the range when participating in archery
